What I Read: May

I'm not sure you remember but the previous month I read one of Game of Thrones books and wrote my two cents about it. Of course, I suppose you could see this coming... I had to read the next book! In fact, I read it right away so I finished this one in the first days of June (before I got caught up in the twirl of essays and exams!) and here I am again to give you an insight on this amazing book collection!

Não sei se se recordam mas no mês passado li um dos livros d' A Guerra dos Tronos e escrevi a minha opinião sobre o mesmo. É claro, acho que já esperavam isto... tive de ler o livro seguinte! Na verdade, li-o logo a seguir, por isso acabei este nos primeiros dias de Junho (antes de ser apanhada na teia de trabalhos e exames!) e aqui estou de novo para vos dar uma espreitadela nesta fantástica colecção de livros!

♥ A Storm of Swords (Part II) A Glória dos Traidores - George R. R. Martin ♥

As I've told you before, this book collection is differently structured in Portuguese (each book in English corresponds to two books in Portuguese) so to give you an idea of what comprises, it pretty much starts with Daenerys trying to conquer Yunkai and negotiating with some of its leaders and it ends with Lady Catelyn Stark surprisingly getting back from the death! This was definitely one of my favourite books so far in this collection! So exciting!

Como já expliquei anteriormente, esta colecção de livros está estruturada de uma forma diferentes em português (cada livro em inglês corresponde a dois livros em português), por isso, para vos dar uma ideia do que o livro abrange, basicamente começa com a Daenerys a tentar conquistar Yunkai e a negociar com alguns dos seus líderes e acaba com a Lady Catelyn Stark a regressar dos mortos! Este foi definitivamente um dos meus livros preferidos até agora nesta colecção! Tão entusiasmante!

Saying I love cute animal prints is an understatement so you may imagine how excited I was when I got this beautiful blouse! Personally, I don't buy sheer clothing very often but when I saw this blouse I didn't even care for that detail and I am so glad I did because it is one the most beautiful pieces I currently own. The fabric is very fresh and light and I am completely in love with its collar! Once again, Sheinside proves to have great quality of clothing so if you're thinking on buying there, I truly recommend it!

In the impossibility of having a real dog saying hello in my photos, I fixed the situation by adding to my outfit this beautiful bag which actually shows a french lady walking her dog by a boulangerie. If only I could teleport me to Paris and enter that gorgeous illustration!

Dizer que eu gosto de padrões giros com animais é dizer pouco, por isso devem imaginar quão entusiasmada fiquei quando recebi esta lindíssima blusa! Pessoalmente, não costumo comprar roupa transparente muitas vezes, mas quando vi esta blusa nem sequer me importei com esse pormenor e estou tão contente por o ter feito porque é uma das peças mais bonitas que tenho de momento. O tecido é bem fresco e leve e estou completamente apaixonada pela gola! Mais uma vez, a Sheinside prova ter muito boa qualidade em roupas, por isso se estiverem a pensar comprar algo lá, eu recomendo vivamente!

Na impossibilidade de ter um cão verdadeiro a dizer olá nas minhas fotos, resolvi a situação por adicionar ao meu outfit esta mala lindíssima que na verdade mostra uma senhora francesa a passear o seu cão em frente a uma boulangerie. Quem me dera poder teletransportar-me para Paris e entrar nesta fantástica ilustração!

New In: May

I am now over with my final exams so I can finally start working on the blog and updating some late posts! This is one of them as I am sharing what was new in my closet in May! 

I have to confess I got a lot of stuff this past month mainly due to a) I had a couple of orders pending from past months that I happened to receive in May; b) I got a voucher to spend!

Acabei os meus exames finais por isso posso finalmente começar a trabalhar no blog e actualizar alguns posts atrasados! Este é um deles já que estou a partilhar o que há de novo no meu closet em Maio!

Tenho que confessar que recebi muita coisa no mês passado, principalmente devido a a) tinha algumas encomendas pendentes de meses anteriores e que recebi em Maio; b) tinha um voucher para gastar!

1. I love band tees but I always feel a bit strange when incorporing them in my outfits so, for that reason, I love when I find someone wearing them so perfectly! This outfit is amazing, I love how you can look so chic wearing such a tee!

Eu adoro t-shirts de bandas, mas sinto-me sempre um pouco estranha a incorporá-las no meus outfits e, por essa razão, adoro quando encontro alguém que as usa de uma forma tão perfeita! Este outfit é fantástico, adoro como se pode ficar tão chique enquanto se usa uma t-shirt assim!

2. I bet you're starting to think I share Tieka's outfits every single month and that may be true but I just can't help it! I have no idea what this girl makes to have such an amazing style, I'm so jealous! I love the navy inspired outfit she wore!

Eu aposto que vocês já estão a pensar que eu partilho os outfits da Tieka todos os meses e até pode ser verdade, mas não consigo deixar de o fazer! Não faço ideia do que é que esta rapariga faz para ter um estilo tão fantástico, tenho inveja! Adoro o outfit à marinheiro que ela usou!

3. I'm pretty sure you all know Atlantic Pacific but I couldn't help but sharing this outfit when I saw it! I have been in love with this sweater for a very long time now and I just love the match with a medium length skirt, so beautiful!

Tenho a certeza que todos conhecem o Atlantic Pacific, mas não pude deixar de partilhar este outfit quando o vi! Já ando apaixonada por esta camisola há imenso tempo e simplesmente adoro a combinação com uma saia pelos joelhos, tão linda!

4. Kaylah is one of my favourite bloggers of all time and I gotta confess I immediatly fell in love with this outfit! It's amazing how she 'wore' Autumn in Spring, those colours look so great on her (specially because they match her hair!).

A Kaylah é uma das minhas bloggers preferidas de sempre e tenho que confessar que me apaixonei imediatamente por este outfit! Adoro como ela 'usou' o Outono em plena Primavera, estas cores ficam-lhe super bem (especialmente porque combinam com o cabelo dela!).

5. I just recently found Taygan's blog but I have to say I am so much loving her style! Sometimes I'm a fan of complicated outfits but when I see people like her who can just put something and look so wonderful, I think twice! She has an amazing style and a lovely lilace hair, so go take a peak!

Só recentemente descobri o blog da Taygan mas tenho que dizer que adoro o estilo dela! Às vezes sou fã de outfits complicados, mas quando vejo pessoas como ela que conseguem simplesmente pôr algo e parecer tão fantásticas, penso logo duas vezes! Ela tem um estilo fantástico e um cabelo lilás adorável, vão espreitar!

6. This outfit is absolutely perfect! I wish I could steal this tapestry skirt into my wardrobe, it's such a beautiful print! I seriously adore this look, so well put together!

Este outfit é absolutamente perfeito! Gostava de poder roubar esta saia para o meu guarda-roupa, é um padrão tão bonito! A sério que adoro este look, tão bem feito!

7. Some blogs just don't need translation! This girl is from Romania and I definitely don't understand a word of what she writes but she has such lovely outfits! This one is super cute, it definitely shows details do count a lot!

Às vezes os blogs não precisam de tradução! Esta rapariga é da Roménia e eu definitivamente uma palavra do que ela escreve, mas ela tem outfits tão adoráveis! Este é super giro, definitivamente mostra que os detalhes contam muito!

8. I think Lua has an amazing style of her own but I have to say when I saw this outfit I immediatly love it! I think it is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen on her blog! I saw it the first time on Instagram and immediatly knew it would be on my favourites!

Eu penso que a Lua tem um estilo muito próprio e fantástico, mas tenho que dizer que quando vi este outfit apaixonei-me imediatamente por ele! Acho que é um dos mais bonitos que já vi no blog dela! Vi-o primeiro no Instagram e soube logo que vinha para os meus favoritos!

I'm not sure you guys recall but last month I bought this gorgeous dress at Primark. This purchase was a bit of a leap of faith because, although I tried it in the store, I was a bit afraid I'd regret buying it later. I already have a couple of Summer dresses so it wasn't definitely on my plans to buy another one but when I saw this dress I just felt like it wasn meant to be. Of course, I was super excited to get the chance to wear it and last weekend the weather was quite lovely so I thought I'd give it a go!

As I was thinking on what I could wear with this dress, this bag my mom gifted me at Easter when I was at home immediatly came to my mind. As I don't have godparents, my mom tried to make it up for me and surprised me with this lovely gift. Thing is, she knows me too well so there was no way I wouldn't just fall in love with a colourful, sort of retro inspired bag that even says 'Paris' (and, as I'm a bit nerdy, I decided to match it with my cute french flag earrings, I surely couldn't pass it!).

I've been wearing this bag quite oftenly and this past weekend it just occured to me it has the perfect size to carry my DSLR around! Although I already have my camera for a few months now, I still haven't found the perfect camera bag for it... do you have any suggestions?

Não sei se se lembram mas no mês passado comprei este vestido fantástico na Primark. Esta compra foi um bocado incerta porque, apesar de o ter experimentado na loja, estava um bocado com receio de me arrepender mais tarde de o ter comprado. Já tenho alguns vestidos de Verão por isso definitivamente não estava nos meus planos comprar outro mas quando vi este vestido soube que tinha de o ter. É claro, estava super entusiasmada por ter a oportunidade de o usar e no fim-de-semana passado o tempo estava bom por isso decidi aproveitar!

Quando estava a pensar no que usar com este vestido, esta mala que a minha mãe me ofereceu na Páscoa quando estive em casa veio-me imediatamente à cabeça. Como não tenho padrinhos, a minha mãe tenho compensar-me e como tal fui surpreendida com esta maravilhosa prenda. A verdade é que a minha mãe me conhece demasiado bem, por isso é claro que eu me ia apaixonar por uma mala colorida, meio retro e que ainda diz 'Paris' (e, como sou um bocado nerd, decidi combiná-la com os meus brincos com a bandeira de França, não podia deixar passar a oportunidade!).

Tenho usado esta mala frequentemente e neste passado fim-de-semana ocorreu-me que tem o tamanho perfeito para transportar a minha máquina fotografica! Apesar de já ter a minha máquina há uns meses, ainda não encontrei a mala perfeita para a minha máquina... têm alguma sugestão?

As I told you on my last outfit post, I am currently about to graduate so for now on I'll a bit away from the blog. Thing is I have everything (tests, essays, exams) in a row now so soon I'll see the end of the semester coming and I just wanted to get everything done so the blog will have to be left a bit behind. Fear not, I will keep working on some posts and hopefully soon I'll be back, better than ever!

Como vos disse no último outfit post, estou quase a licenciar-me, por isso daqui para a fente vou estar um pouco afastada do blog. A verdade é que agora tenho tudo (frequências, trabalhos, exames) seguido por isso em breve vou estar a ver o fim do semestre a chegar e só quero ter tudo feito por isso o blog vai ficar um pouco para trás. Contudo, vou continuar a trabalhar em posts para o blog e com sorte em breve estou de volta, melhor que nunca!
